(Tinian,
MP) – Poker fans from all over the island turned out in droves
for the Budweiser Asia Pacific Poker Championship launch party on
Tuesday, March 6 at the Fiesta Resort Guam. Several hundred party-goers
enjoyed the fun-filled event, hosted by DJ sensation, Big Boy.
Local resident, Howard J.A. San Nicolas, was the lucky winner of a free entry into the inaugural Budweiser Asia Pacific Poker Championship. Mr. San Nicolas is a resident of Dededo and a self-employed mechanic. “I am very happy about this win and the opportunity to go to Tinian and play for the one hundred thousand dollar prize pool and the chance to go on to the 2007 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas,” says San Nicolas. |
